Are you an emerging or mid-career artist looking for the opportunity to create, grow, and connect with a thriving art community? Imagine crafting your next masterpiece in paradise while collaborating with like-minded creatives and promoting your work to a new audience. Tulum Art Club is excited to announce our newest collaboration with Kan Tulum, a stunning conscious hotel located in the heart of Tulum, Mexico, where our residency program will be held.
This residency is designed to give you the space, resources, and community to dive into your art while enjoying the inspiring surroundings of the Riviera Maya. Read on to learn how you can apply and make your creative vision come to life with us!
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking emerging and mid-career artists with a strong creative vision and a proven ability to generate meaningful work. Artists with a solid social media following or those who already have a well-established web shop will be given preference, as we’re excited about working with individuals who can amplify our mutual exposure and success.

Residency Details
Location:
The residency takes place at Kan Tulum, a luxurious hotel in Tulum known for its deep connection to nature, creative design, and commitment to sustainability. You will live, create, and share your work in an atmosphere that embodies the spirit of Tulum’s vibrant art scene.What We Provide:
Travel Expenses: Up to $600 USD to cover your flights.
Accommodation: A beautiful, comfortable stay at Kan Tulum for the entire residency period.
Transportation: Local transport airport-Tulum.
Hospitality: 2 meals are covered, allowing you to focus solely on your work. (Drinks are payed separately)
Artist Fee: A $500 USD stipend to support your creative process.
Production Budget: Up to $1,200 USD to fund the creation of your artwork during the residency.
Promotion: We’ll actively promote your work before and after the residency through Tulum Art Club’s and Kan extensive network, giving you access to collectors, interior designers, architects, and more.
Workshops and Events: You will have the chance to host a public workshop, sharing your process and knowledge with the local community.
Video Documentation: We’ll create a video and document your process, giving you content to share and promote your experience.
Sales Support: If you're a painter, you'll have the opportunity to produce limited edition prints and receive 40% of the sales. For sculptors, the agreement will be tailored based on medium (bronze or 3D resin), ensuring fair compensation.
Your Role:
Create one original artwork during your residency.
Engage with the local community by offering a workshop or giving a talk about your artistic process.
If you wish to create a mural, we can help find the perfect spot, but mural materials will come from the production budget.
Document your Process and share it trough your social media.
