We invite you for a sunset Mayan Ceramics Workshop with artist and ceramicist Emilio Espadas, the descendant of the Mayan potters family of Uayama, Yucatan. Emilio has been experimenting with his descendant’s thousands year old ancestral ceramic techniques by integrating diverse mineral substances such as crystals from the region into his works.

Tulum Art Club has been working with the Espadas family over the last two years to help rescue their pre-Hispanic craft techniques which are at risk of disappearing. We are excited to partner with them both on a series of workshops at the Treehouse.
